Candas Jones is our FMS-Functional Movement Screen Specialist at The Lean Berets. We like all our corporate and personal clients to first do the FMS so we can get a “snapshot” of their primary movement patters BEFORE we start loading them with weight and speed in exercise programming. The FMS is a valid predictor for your chance of injury. Statistically, a score of under 14 means you are 2-3X more likely to be injured during movement. Why wait to get hurt? Get a FMS, and if a potential problem is exposed, initiate the corrective strategies for proactive prevention.
Candas is based in Southern California and available for travel by special arrangement for FMS and exercise programming services or contact Functional Movement Systems to find a Certified FMS Specialist in your area.
