One of our favorite “fitness tools” is the simple yet productive SandBell. “SandBells” are soft sand-filled discs made by Hyperwear in Texas. They range from just a couple of pounds to 50 pounds. Most of our drills and games use the lightest SandBells which are only two pounds.
One of the best introductory moves to know with light SandBells is the “Figure-8 Toss” with a partner. We have used these for corporate groups, youth, seniors, neurosurgeons, and athletes. Everyone can benefit in both brain and body while having fun too!
